The data centers of our website provider Strato have been running on green electricity since 2008. Now Strato is taking the next step and becoming climate-neutral. Strato fully offsets its own CO₂ footprint – from heating and electricity costs, to company vehicles and business travel, but also to the production and delivery of data center and office hardware, as well as emissions generated on the customer side through the use of Strato products.
Strato’s CO₂ footprint is calculated and offset according to internationally recognized standards in cooperation with South Pole, a leading provider of climate protection solutions. All direct and indirect emissions are included in the calculations.
